Salary range – Base $50-55k OTE $60-65k

About the Role

The Proof Account Specialist is critical to our company's growth. You’re smart, resourceful and able to build and nurture relationships. You’re interested in growing your career in sales, customer experience or account management. As an account specialist, you will work directly with our lead generation and selling teams to grow and nurture new Proof clients. You’ll be expected to learn our platform quickly, proactively outreach to new clients and grow our relationships. We have lofty goals in 2023. Everything you do must produce tangible results, so bring your ability to self-motivate, motivate others, stay positive, have fun and win!

Account Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Engage with new clients pre-sale to thoroughly understand their needs
  • Provide follow up service and materials after sales demonstrations
  • Coordinate internal resources to deliver on client needs
  • Meet team growth goals through expansion selling within accounts
  • Provide technical support for new users
  • Assist with trade shows and sales events
  • Build email outreach campaigns to current clients
  • Update and maintain Proof’s customer relationship management system (Hubspot)
  • Leverage your influence within an account to acquire new business and gain referrals
  • Become an expert on our products, our market and industry trends
  • Take dormant accounts and take them to full-scale utilization
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams offering solutions that benefit the company and the team

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 1+ year(s) in a customer facing role
  • Results-driven, metrics-focused, strong sense of urgency
  • Must demonstrate a strong adherence to a sales process (clear understanding of discovery, value proposition, buying process, decision making, objection handling and closing)
  • Demonstrated experience using common business software tools like Excel and Customer Relationship Management tools. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel 3-4 times per year
